Why We Publish This

An honest account of what's in our catalogue

Eww Sports Shoes is operated by Wellnessmasco Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 15150625. We publish this disclosure so that every customer in the United States and Canada, and anyone reviewing the products we advertise online, can see exactly what kind of store this is, in plain language, before a single item is added to a cart.

Our catalogue is intentionally narrow. We sell adult running and sports footwear from On Running, HOKA, and Brooks, and nothing outside that category. We do not operate a marketplace, we do not allow third-party sellers to list through our store, and we do not carry private-label or unbranded footwear of unknown origin.

Because our catalogue is this focused, the safety considerations that genuinely matter are the ones that apply to athletic footwear: correct fit, material sensitivities, normal wear and tear, and the small components found in any shoe. This page sets all of that out clearly, alongside the categories of product we will never sell.

Drawing The Line Clearly

Categories that have no place in our store

Some online stores sell a little of everything. We don't. The list below isn't a legal formality — it reflects exactly how we built this catalogue from day one, and it will not change.

Never listed

Weapons, Ammunition & Explosive Materials

Every product in our store is a piece of branded athletic footwear. We have never listed, and will never list, a firearm, blade, ammunition component, or explosive material.

Never listed

Recreational Drugs & Drug Paraphernalia

We do not sell recreational drugs, psychoactive substances, or equipment designed to facilitate drug use, regardless of how it might be marketed elsewhere.

Never listed

Tobacco, Vaping & Nicotine Products

Tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping devices, and nicotine products of any kind fall completely outside what we sell.

Never listed

Fireworks & Pyrotechnic Devices

Fireworks, flares, and other pyrotechnic or combustible devices are not, and have never been, part of our catalogue.

Never listed

Hazardous Chemicals & Industrial Materials

We do not sell hazardous chemicals, solvents, or industrial materials. The only chemical content in anything we ship is the ordinary adhesive and dye used to manufacture the shoes themselves.

Never listed

Counterfeit Or Unauthorised Replica Goods

Every pair we sell is genuine stock from On Running, HOKA, or Brooks, sourced through legitimate wholesale and trade channels. We do not knowingly source, list, or ship counterfeit or replica footwear.

Using Your Shoes Safely

What these shoes are designed for — and what they are not

Running and sports footwear is built for a specific purpose: cushioned, supportive movement during everyday training, walking, and recreational sport. It is worth being precise about what that does and doesn't include.

Not personal protective equipment. Our footwear is not certified safety footwear and does not meet protective-footwear standards such as ASTM F2412/F2413 in the United States or CSA Z195 in Canada. It should not replace certified work or safety boots.

Not a medical or orthopedic device. These shoes are not designed, tested, or marketed as a medical device or orthopedic appliance, and are not a substitute for footwear prescribed by a physician or podiatrist.

Not specialist sport-specific footwear. Our range is built for road and general athletic use, not cleated sports such as football or rugby, or technical trail terrain, unless an individual listing states otherwise.

Not marine or industrial footwear. These shoes are not rated for water sports, marine use, or industrial or workplace environments with chemical, electrical, or impact hazards.

Check your size carefully against the listed US sizing before ordering. A shoe that's too tight or too loose can affect both comfort and stability.

Allow a short break-in period for any new pair, and pay attention to how your feet respond, particularly during longer sessions.

Replace your shoes once the outsole tread is visibly worn or the midsole cushioning has noticeably broken down — both reduce grip and shock absorption over time.

Take extra care on wet, icy, or uneven surfaces. No running shoe, including ours, can fully eliminate the risk of slipping.

Speak with a physician or podiatrist first if you have diabetes, a circulatory condition, or an existing foot or ankle injury, before starting a new running or training routine.

What's In The Shoe

Materials, care, and the occasional sensitivity

Like virtually all modern athletic footwear, the shoes we sell are made from a combination of synthetic mesh, foam, rubber, and textile components, finished with adhesives and dyes during manufacturing. None of this is unusual, and it reflects standard construction across the running shoe industry.

A small number of wearers may notice mild skin sensitivity, especially in the first few wears, most often linked to synthetic materials, dyes, or adhesives rather than the shoe as a whole. This is uncommon, and it isn't specific to any one brand we carry.

If you notice redness, itching, or swelling that doesn't settle after a few wears, stop wearing the shoes, wash and dry your feet, and speak with a physician if symptoms continue. Wearing moisture-wicking socks and airing a new pair before its first wear also helps most people avoid irritation altogether.

Around Young Children

Built for adult feet, not for play

Every shoe we sell is adult-sized, and our sizing range reflects that — we do not stock or list children's footwear. That distinction matters for safety as well as fit.

Choking hazard for young children. Components such as lace tips (aglets), eyelets, and removable insoles are small parts that can detach with enough force or wear. Like any adult footwear, they can present a choking hazard to infants and very young children. Keep new shoes, laces, and packaging out of reach of children under three, and supervise lacing around toddlers and young children.

Authenticity, In Writing

Genuine stock, clearly disclosed brand status

Genuine product, honestly sourced

Every pair listed on Eww Sports Shoes is genuine, new, and unworn, sourced through legitimate wholesale and trade channels and shipped in its original manufacturer packaging. If you ever have a concern about an item you've received, contact us directly at info@ewwsportsshoes.com before doing anything else with your order, and we'll investigate personally.

Independent retailer, clearly disclosed

Eww Sports Shoes is an independent retailer. We are not owned by, operated by, or formally affiliated with On AG, Deckers Brands (HOKA), or Brooks Sports, Inc. Product names and trademarks referenced on this page belong to their respective owners and are used solely to identify the genuine footwear we sell.

Where Our Obligations Come From

How product safety law applies to us, in plain terms

We ship exclusively to the United States and Canada, so those are the two regulatory frameworks that actually govern the footwear we sell. Here's a plain-language summary of what applies to us, without the legal jargon.

United States

Federal Consumer Product Safety

Consumer Product Safety Act
Footwear sold in the US is a consumer product regulated under this Act, with oversight from the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Federal Hazardous Substances Act
General hazard-labelling provisions under this Act apply to consumer goods, including footwear, where relevant.
Country-of-origin marking
Each pair is marked with its country of manufacture under 19 U.S.C. § 1304, enforced by US Customs and Border Protection.
Children's product testing
Lead and phthalate testing under the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act applies to children's products specifically. Since our catalogue is adult sizing only, this requirement doesn't apply to anything we sell.
Canada

Federal Consumer Product Safety

Canada Consumer Product Safety Act
Footwear sold to Canadian customers falls under this Act, administered by Health Canada, which governs consumer product safety nationwide.
Textile Labelling Act & Regulations
Where fibre content applies to a product, labelling follows this Act, overseen by the Competition Bureau of Canada.
Truth-in-advertising obligations
Our product descriptions and pricing follow the misleading-advertising provisions of the Competition Act.
Bilingual labelling
Where required for goods sold into Canada, product packaging and labelling reflect applicable bilingual requirements.
Staying Ahead Of Recalls

How we track recalls, and where you can check independently

Recalls are rare for running shoes, but they do happen across the footwear industry. We pay attention to manufacturer safety communications from On Running, HOKA, and Brooks, and if anything we have ever sold becomes subject to a manufacturer or government-ordered recall, we will contact affected customers directly and offer a remedy in line with our Refund Policy.

United States

Consumer Product Safety Commission

Search official recalls or report a safety concern about any consumer product, independently of any retailer, including us.

Canada

Health Canada Recalls & Safety Alerts

Search Health Canada's official database of consumer product recalls and safety alerts, or report an incident directly.

These are independent government resources. They are not operated by Eww Sports Shoes or Wellnessmasco Ltd.

Before A Product Ever Goes Live

What happens before a pair reaches our catalogue

We source exclusively through legitimate wholesale and trade channels for On Running, HOKA, and Brooks — never through unverified resellers or unofficial grey-market stock.

Every new style is checked against its packaging, labelling, and presentation before it's added to the site, so what's listed matches what we actually hold.

If a safety concern is ever raised about a specific batch or model, by a manufacturer, a regulator, or a customer, we pause or remove that listing while we look into it.

Returned or damaged stock is never resold as new. It's inspected, and either returned to circulation appropriately or removed from sale entirely.

If Something Doesn't Feel Right

How to report a safety concern, step by step

If you believe a pair you've received has a genuine safety issue, not general wear, but something like a structural defect, here's exactly what happens when you reach out.

01

Stop wearing it

Stop wearing the item and keep it somewhere safe, ideally with its original box and packaging.

02

Tell us what happened

Email info@ewwsportsshoes.com or call +44 20 3322 5623 with your order number, the product name, and a description or photo of the issue.

03

We look into it personally

A real person on our team reviews every report — there's no automated queue standing between you and an answer.

04

We make it right

If the concern is confirmed, we offer a remedy in line with our Refund Policy, which may include a refund or a replacement.

You're also free to report a safety concern directly and independently to the Consumer Product Safety Commission or Health Canada using the resources further up this page — you don't need to go through us first.

One Last Clarification

This page is information, not medical advice

Everything on this page is general product information, not medical advice. It is not a substitute for guidance from a physician, podiatrist, or other qualified healthcare professional. If you have a foot, ankle, circulatory, or diabetic condition, or you experience pain, injury, or irritation, please consult a healthcare professional rather than relying on this page.
