Section 03

Your Rights in Detail

Below is a plain-language explanation of every right you can exercise through this form, along with which laws grant that right and what happens when you submit a request.

  • CCPA / CPRA — CALIFORNIA

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We will stop sharing your browsing data, purchase history, and device identifiers with Google Ads and Meta Pixel for targeted advertising. Opting out does not affect your ability to shop with us or receive order-related emails.

  • VIRGINIA · COLORADO · CONNECTICUT · TEXAS · UTAH · MONTANA · IOWA · INDIANA · DELAWARE — USA

    Opt Out of Targeted Advertising

We will remove your identifiers from our targeted advertising audiences on Google and Meta. You will still see ads, but they will not be based on your browsing or purchase behaviour on our site.

  • CPRA — CALIFORNIA ONLY

Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

Under CPRA, sensitive personal information includes payment card data and precise geolocation if collected. You can instruct us to use this data only for providing our core service (fulfilling your shoe order) and not for advertising inference.

  • PIPEDA · QUÉBEC LAW 25 — CANADA

    Withdraw Consent (Canadian Residents)

You may withdraw consent for non-essential data processing at any time. We will stop using your data for marketing, profiling, and third-party analytics within 30 days. Note: we must continue to process your data for legal and tax obligations related to your order.

  • ALL US STATE LAWS · PIPEDA · QUÉBEC LAW 25

Access, Correct, or Delete My Data

You have the right to request a copy of the data we hold about you, correct any inaccuracies, or ask for deletion of data we are not legally required to retain. Submit your request below and we will respond within 45 days with a full data report.

Authorised agents: If you are submitting this request on behalf of another person, we may ask for written proof of your authorisation — such as a signed power of attorney or a written statement from the data subject — before processing the request, in accordance with CCPA/CPRA requirements. Please attach evidence or send it to info@ewwsportsshoes.com with subject line "Authorised Agent Request".

We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and respond in full within 45 calendar days.

Section 05

What Happens After You Submit

Once we receive your form, here is the exact process we follow to verify, act on, and close your request — with no ambiguity about timelines.

01

Acknowledgement — within 5 business days

We will send a confirmation email to the address you provided, confirming we have received your request and assigned it a reference number. If we cannot verify your identity from the information given, we will ask for additional confirmation at this stage.

02

Identity Verification — within 10 business days

We match your name and email against order records. For deletion or access requests, we may ask you to confirm a recent order number or the last four digits of your payment method. This protects you against someone else requesting your data.

03

Processing Your Request — within 45 calendar days

We act on your verified request: removing your data from advertising platforms, providing a data export, correcting records, or executing a deletion. We notify Shopify, Klaviyo, Google, and Meta as required. If we need a 45-day extension (permitted by law), we will notify you in writing.

04

Written Confirmation — on completion

We will email you a written confirmation stating what action was taken, which data was affected, and the date it was completed. You may exercise these rights free of charge up to twice per 12-month period. Requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive may be subject to a reasonable administrative fee under applicable law.

Exceptions to deletion: We are legally required to retain certain records. Order invoices and payment records are retained for 7 years under UK tax law (HMRC). Data required to complete a pending return or dispute cannot be deleted until that matter is resolved. We will always tell you clearly which data we are required to keep and why.

Questions or Appeals?

If you are unsatisfied with how we handled your request, you have the right to appeal our decision. Contact us within 30 days of receiving our response and we will conduct a fresh internal review. California residents may also contact the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA). Canadian residents may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC).
